What earns points
Submitting, voting, commenting and having a request shipped all award points, and each amount is configurable. Set submission and shipped-request rewards higher than voting so the incentive points at effort rather than clicks.
Streaks and tiers
Streaks reward returning within a window you set. Tiers unlock recognition — a badge next to a name, early access to betas, or a higher vote weight if you choose to enable that.
Avoid gaming
Points from posts later merged as duplicates are consolidated, spam removals claw points back, and daily earn caps are on by default. Review the leaderboard monthly; a single runaway account usually means a cap needs lowering.
