Quickstart: your first board in 10 minutes

Workspace, first board, first invite, first post — end to end.

Create your workspace

A workspace is the container for every board, roadmap and changelog you publish. Most companies need exactly one; agencies running feedback for clients usually create one workspace per client.

  1. 1Sign up and confirm your email address.
  2. 2Name the workspace after your product, not your company — customers see this name.
  3. 3Pick a subdomain. This becomes your public feedback URL and can be swapped for a custom domain later on a paid plan.

Publish your first board

Start from a template rather than a blank board. Templates arrive with statuses, categories and submission fields already configured, which is the difference between a board people use and a board that fills with untriaged noise.

  1. 1Open Boards and choose New board.
  2. 2Select a template such as Feature requests or Bug reports.
  3. 3Set visibility to Public so anyone with the link can vote, or Private if you want an invite-only board.
  4. 4Hit Publish.

Invite the whole team

Seats are unlimited on every plan, including Free, so there is no reason to ration access. Invite support, sales, customer success and engineering on day one — the people closest to customers are the ones who capture the best feedback.

Roles control what people can do: admins manage settings and billing, moderators triage and change statuses, and members comment and vote internally.

Collect your first post

Share the public board URL in your product, your onboarding emails and your support macros. Add the in-app widget or the browser extension if you want submissions to include screenshots and diagnostics automatically.

Once posts start landing, work the board daily for the first two weeks. Early responses set the expectation that submitting feedback is worth the effort.
